Why?
This site documents a personal attempt to learn artificial intelligence. Rusty Kane is a fictional stand-in; the work and curiosity are real. Everything here comes from treating AI as something to engage with, not something to study at arm’s length.
Why this site exists
When you’re new to a field, you don’t know what you’re missing. You can read randomly, follow trends, or copy someone else’s syllabus. None of that guarantees coverage, and most of it reflects someone else’s priorities.
Using AI to generate a learning path helped solve that. The syllabus grew from stated goals. Structure came first, details came later.
Why AI wrote everything
The purpose of this site is to learn artificial intelligence by working with her. That means using generative AI to create the lessons and the sample applications.
This wasn’t automation for speed. It was practice. Each sample application came from back-and-forth conversations: asking, refining, correcting, and sometimes starting over. That process mirrors real-world use far better than reading about models in isolation.
The result is imperfect. It shows how AI behaves when prompted well, poorly, and somewhere in between. That friction is a good lesson.
In the end, this site isn’t about outsourcing thinking. It’s about learning how to think with artificial intelligence—and knowing when not to.
